Applications are open (1st phase with an early bird fee until March, 31, 2012) for the Magellan MBA, an international full-time MBA program in Portugal offered by the Business School of the largest Portuguese University, EGP-UPBS University of Porto Business School.
The Magellan MBA is one of just a handful of MBA programs in Portugal or Spain to be double accredited internationally (by AMBA and EPAS/EFMD) and is part of the top-30 Worldwide MBA Rising Stars 2011. The program is designed to allow students develop general management skills along with a possible specialization in specific managerial areas. About 60% of the Magellan MBA students are international (2011/12), the largest rate recorded for an accredited MBA in Portugal. The development of soft skills in communication, leadership, team management and negotiation is also an important component of this program.
