Dear PAPS members,
The January edition of the Portuguese-American Post-Graduate Society Newsletter is out!
This month, we have an interview with economist Gisela Rua where she talks about her academic training at the University of California, Berkeley and professional experience working at the Federal Reserve Board in Washington DC.
We also have a couple of articles contributed by members: one by PAPS Washington DC member Andreia Ribeiro where she discusses an alternative career path in the biopharmaceutical industry for those with PhD’s in engineering and sciences; and another by Leonardo Ferreira from the Boston Chapter on how to apply to an American PhD program.
We hope you enjoy reading this newsletter and we are eager to get suggestions and contributions from YOU, especially for the "Members' Dashboard" section. Just contact us at newsletter@papsonline.org

Best regards,
