No passado dia 23 de Novembro o núcleo de Los Angeles organizou mais um original convívio. Durante toda a manhã, os membros do núcleo participaram num torneio de squash no John Wooden Center na UCLA. O torneio, que teve uma aderência significativa, serviu para introduzir o squash a alguns membros bem como desenvolver a técnica de outros. Apesar dos diferentes níveis de squash, reinou sempre a boa disposição, que acabou com uma merecida vitória de Ricardo Oliveira. No final, o convívio entre participantes e outros membros da PAPS continuou num agradável almoço num restaurante de Westwood.

Last November 23, the Los Angeles chapter organized another original endeavor. Throughout the morning the chapter members participated in a squash tournament at UCLA’s John Wooden Center. The tournament attracted interest from several members, some of which had never entered a squash court before. Thus, it served to both introduce some people to the sport, as well as test the skills of some veteran players. Despite the different game levels, companionship and high spirits were the dominant factors, and more than the actual competition –which Ricardo Oliveira won- made the tournament such a success. The event ended with a pleasant lunch at a Westwood restaurant in which both players and other members of PAPS participated.
