The Portuguese-American Post-graduate Society is an independent, non-profit organization, with no political affiliations. Its objectives are to stimulate the development of strong relationships between the Portuguese postgraduate community living in North America and the American society while, simultaneously, promoting their home country. Who may register?
Any Portuguese or luso-descendant individual who is studying, teaching or working in North America, either at a University, an Institute or a professional company. Some examples of potential members (although others may apply):
a) has earned or is currently enlisted in a graduate degree on a North American University
b) is a visiting graduate student or postdoctoral fellow on a North American University
c) owns a faculty position at a North American University
d) holds an academic degree and works for a company based in North America

Becoming a member will entitle him to join the PAPS activities and receive news and job announcements that are regularly posted.

Please answer to as many questions as possible so that we can verify your eligibility. Failure to do so will result in your application being deleted.

PAPS
Choose which chapter you wish to be affiliated with.
Regular Members: all the Portuguese or Luso-American individuals residing in North America who are pursuing or have pursued graduate studies, or are professionals with an academic degree.
Alumni Members: all the regular members that moved from North America and returned to Portugal or went elsewhere
Guest Members: individuals recognized by their scientific, academic, artistic, entrepreneurial or social skills that PAPS invites to belong to the Society.
Associate Members: individuals that are not regular or alumni members but wish to participate in PAPS related activities.
